Today was good. I'm having a lot of good days. I like that!
Tomorrow I have much to do but I will get it done. Day after day... one after another... trying to do the right thing.
Abundance is of the soul. That is what is most important.
Life is good.
I'm unemployed, going to school, living on 3/8 of what I was making and I'm happy. I have enough to cover my bills.
I wonder if the people I know and love are happy. I'd like them to be. It would be great if I could help others but... each person is in charge of their own happiness.
My second 'adopted' granddaughter had a baby yesterday. Jayce. He is home now. He is healthy. I'm glad.
It was hazy today. A little cold. But the country is beautiful. Anytime I go outside here the landscape is green. The trees are taller than anywhere else I've every lived. Evergreens.
I'm looking forward to the spring. I want to see if I can grow anything here. There are P-Patches in Bellevue and Mukilteo. I plan to participate in one or the other. Any suggestions? I don't know what to plant. Veggies for salads, squash, maybe tomatoes, perhaps sugar peas. Blackberries grow wild here so that isn't an issue. Perhaps strawberries?
Again, life is good!

Another day in the life....
I have a teacher for Computer Math & Problem Solving that made me take a test to see if I met the pre-requisites for the class. I passed. So I have three solid classes to take this quarter.
CIS 114 Computer Math & Problem Solving is on-line
CIS 161 A+ (Hardware) 1 is a regular class room class, Tuesday & Thursdays 6-8:40 PM
CIS 171 Cisco Networking 1 is a hybrid class where part is on-line and the rest is Saturday 12:45-3:25 PM
Lots of work but it should be worth it.
The teacher for the hardware class is a character. I think I'll like him. The 'evangelical' style of teaching is interesting. I'm looking forward to to learning about the mysterious world or hardware!
There is a concern. I understand the A+ test in changing the end of February. I'm hoping that I will be able to be certified in A+ before long and I hope to be learning the right stuff. In any case, I'll be glad to demystify the insides of the box.
Jim went and picked up some 'pre-vinegar' for himself and some 'post-egg whites' for me. OK... it is wine before it becomes vinegar. Meringues are post-egg whites. It isn't good for either of us, but once in a while we indulge.
My trip to Denver over the holidays was good. At the same time it was hard. Daddy isn't as good as he was. He is in pretty good shape physically. The hip replacement hasn't slowed him down. His mind isn't very good. We try to insure he is well cared for. He is now in hospice care. They decided to accept him because he has lost so much weight.
Hospice care has changed. Originally it was for those who were dieing. Now, it is for those who are in need of palliative care. Daddy fits the bill.
I'm off to bed... tomorrow will be a school day so I have lots to do!
